I made these today for the neighbors. I may have to try one just to make sure they don't taste weird. I don't mind a little quality control. Tomorrow I plan on making this with marinated boneless pork chops and maybe a loaf of homemade bread. I'm really hoping to try and work on lowering the amount of processed foods that we eat. It bothers me that we consume foods that are so doctored that they don't resemble anything natural at all. This probably will throw me into the world of homemade everything, which, during break I really don't mind. I'd like to learn to make homemade pasta, maybe some lasagna noodles? Anyway, I'll try and make a "blog segment" on my adventures into the homemade food life. I might as well get in touch with my inner 1950s housewife.
Okay, I promise quality christmas decoration photos later and maybe even a recipe or two? We'll see if you're that lucky.

I make almost everything from scratch. It's not that hard, and it really does taste better if you have good recipes :) Have you read Michael Pollan's books? Anyway, we've decided not to let our kids eat artificial flavors or colors...which makes it hard at times for them, but hopefully in the long run it will be way better for them. Anyway, I can't wait to see your next posts! Hope you guys had a great Christmas!
