Today is my husband's 28th birthday. So yesterday I threw him a BBQ party and invited family and friends. Here's a couple of shots! These are strawberry with vanilla buttercream frosting. They were gone pretty quick.
Today I made him a cake just for us. This one was a Velvet Cocoa Cake with Instant Buttercream frosting. It was awesome. The frosting gave me some issues. It became thin very quickly while I was frosting, causing the top layer to slide off!!! I eventually made it work though. Pretty tasty.
